Hotels in Jubail: Where to Stay and Which Area Suits You
Jubail's hotels sit in two main areas. The old town, around King Faisal Street and the commercial port, has the Hilton Garden Inn Al Jubail. Jubail Industrial City, further north, has the Park Inn by Radisson, the Courtyard by Marriott and the Holiday Inn and Suites. The InterContinental is a beach resort in Al Huwaylat, in between.
Jubail is really two places, the old town (Jubail Balad) and Jubail Industrial City, run by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Our Jubail facts page explains the difference. For hotels it matters because the two lie roughly 20 km apart by road (OSRM routing on OpenStreetMap data, October 2026), so the right area saves you a daily drive.
Every hotel below appears on its operator's own website, checked in October 2026. We leave out star ratings and prices because they change often. Check both when you book.
Which hotel is in Jubail's old town?
The Hilton Garden Inn Al Jubail is on King Faisal Street East in the city centre. Hilton describes it as across from the beach and one kilometre from the Jubail Commercial Port. The hotel lists a rooftop pool, a fitness centre and the Garden Grille restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The same page puts the Royal Commission 18 km away, about 20 minutes by car. That makes it a sensible base if you want the old town first: Al Jubail Mall and the 1928 Crease Archaeological Tower are both on this side of the city.
Which hotels are in Jubail Industrial City?
Three verified hotels sit inside the Industrial City. They suit business travellers with meetings at the industrial sites, and families who want the northern beaches and parks within a short drive.
| Hotel | Area | What the operator highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Park Inn by Radisson Jubail Industrial City | Al Derah Road | A 4-minute walk from Al Derah Walk, per Visit Saudi; shisha lounge cafe |
| Courtyard by Marriott Jubail | Jubail Industrial City | All-day restaurant, grab-and-go cafe, ballroom; King Fahd International Airport about 78.9 km away, per Marriott |
| Holiday Inn and Suites Al Jubail | Jalmudah, Taibah | A 5-minute walk from Taibah Beach; Al Tavola restaurant and Lobby Cafe |
Park Inn's location gets independent support from Visit Saudi. The Saudi Tourism Authority's page on Al Derah Walk, an open-air shopping and cafe strip, says it lies a 4-minute walk from the hotel.
Holiday Inn and Suites opened in 2020. Argaam reported that Dur Hospitality announced the opening in a bourse filing, placing the hotel in the Jubail Industrial Zone near a beach and business district.
Where is the InterContinental Al Jubail?
The InterContinental Al Jubail is a beach resort in the Al Huwailat district, north of the old town. IHG lists four on-site restaurants, including Al Diwan Lebanese Restaurant, plus beach and water sports. It also gives distances of 8 km to the Al Fanateer Corniche and 5 km to Al Nakheel Beach.
An older Arab News guide from 2014 describes the same hotel on a private beach with an outdoor pool and a diving centre. Check current facilities with the hotel before you book. We could not confirm from an official source whether Al Huwaylat counts as part of the Industrial City or the wider town, so compare its map pin with your plans.
How do I choose the right area?
Start with where you will spend your days. Then match the hotel to it:
- Meetings at plants or Royal Commission offices: Industrial City hotels.
- Beach days at Al Fanateer, Al Nakheel or Taibah: Industrial City or Al Huwaylat.
- Old town, port and Al Jubail Mall: the city centre.
- Short stay with an early flight: compare each hotel's distance to King Fahd International Airport (DMM). Transfer options are on Airport to Jubail transport.
The city is spread out. Most visitors get around by car or ride-hailing app; Jubail travel tips covers getting around.
FAQ
Should I stay in the old town or in Jubail Industrial City?
Pick the Industrial City if your meetings or beach plans are around Al Fanateer, Al Derah Road or Taibah. Pick the old town if you want the commercial port, Al Jubail Mall and the Crease Tower close by. The two areas are about 23 km apart by road, so check the map pin before you book.
Does Jubail have a beach hotel?
Yes. IHG describes the InterContinental Al Jubail as a beachside resort in the Al Huwailat district, and IHG places the Holiday Inn and Suites Al Jubail a five-minute walk from Taibah Beach. Hilton says its Hilton Garden Inn Al Jubail sits across from the beach in the city centre.
