How we research
We prioritise primary and official sources: Saudi government and tourism bodies, official attraction and hotel websites, and King Fahd International Airport's own information. Secondary sources are used only where a primary source is unavailable, and every practical claim carries a date and a source.
Geographic accuracy
Jubail is two places: the old town, Jubail Balad, and Jubail Industrial City to the north, run by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. This site says which of the two an address is in. Dammam, Dhahran and Al Khobar are separate cities about an hour's drive south; Ithra, for example, is in Dhahran and is labelled that way wherever it is mentioned.
